Clarion County, PA – A Clarion County woman lost $1,250 to a gift card scam.
The 67-year-old woman from Strattanville says an online scam convinced her to buy $1,250 worth of Apple, Google, and Target gift cards and send the information to the scam artist.
Police are continuing to investigate. Once again, if someone ever demands money, it’s likely a scam, especially if they are asking specifically for gift cards which can be more difficult to track down after the scam is reported.
