BROOKVILLE – State Senator Cris Dush is reminding local fire departments and non-affiliated EMS organizations that a grant deadline is approaching.
February 10th is the final day for area firefighters and other first responders to apply for federal grants for equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, training and other resources.
Dush says the money is available through the Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
