CLEARFIELD – State road maintenance work is expected to continue next week with some notable traffic delays that may impact your daily commute.

Some of the projects to watch for include bridge cleaning throughout the county, mowing and shoulder work along Interstate 80 between mile markers 120 and 137, sign upgrades throughout Clearfield County, pipe flushing on Route 53 near Irvona, ditch cleaning along Route 4015 near DuBois, and milling and patching on Routes 453 and 729 near Curwensville and Lumber City.

PennDOT says the milling and patching work between Routes 453 and 729 have caused notable traffic delays that are expected to continue throughout next Wednesday.

As always, be sure to use extra caution in work areas, and be aware that maintenance project crews could be working at any time of the day or night.
