Brian Smith holding license plate replacement events in Punxsy and BrookvilleTue, July 26, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Punxsutawney – There will soon be opportunities in Jefferson County to get a free replacement of a faded or peeling Pennsylvania license plate.State Representative Brian Smith is teaming up with local law enforcement for two license plate replacement events – August 8th in Brookville, and August 15th in Punxsutawney.If one or more numbers or letters on your plate cannot be recognized from 50 feet away, or if there is blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity, the plate should be replaced.The August 8th replacement event will happen at the Brookville Borough Complex on Western Avenue from 4 till 6pm.The Punxsutawney event will be August 15th at the Punxsutawney Borough Complex on East Mahoning Street from 4 till 6pm.
