State Police investigate scam after Grassflat woman purchases dog she never receives

Grassflat – State Police are investigating a suspected scam involving the attempted purchase of a dog through a fake website.

A 65-year-old Clearfield County woman reportedly paid $630 for a Black Labrador Retriever through the website, “mainlabradorretrievers.com.”

The Grassflat woman tried to purchase the animal on September 19th, but it was later discovered that the website was fake and she never received a dog.

The investigation continues.
