BROCKWAY – For the past 28 years, people in Brockway have come together to stand against crime and drug use.
Brockway’s National Night Out saw hundreds of community members come out to enjoy vendors, local law enforcement and community services, and tables full of prizes.
As Coordinator of the event April London told us, this is meant to draw out the community urging them to stay away from drugs and crime.
“It is a huge problem in all communities, and we just want them to see that we don’t have to have that to have fun,” explained London. “You can go out and do stuff like this and get out and do stuff instead of causing problems or being on drugs.”
While this year’s event was not as well attended, London will continue to stand up against drugs and crime.
