CLEARFIELD – Following his guilty plea to aggravated assault and evading arrest charges in Clearfield County Court this week, a Millersburg man received a sentence of four to 10 years in state prison.
According to court documents, 42-year-old Michael Boyd was accused of stabbing a man in Clearfield last summer. Police say Boyd stabbed the man in the neck as the pair argued outside a home where they were helping a woman move. The woman, who witnessed the attack, said Boyd went “psycho.” Boyd reportedly fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later along another street in Clearfield.
The victim received medical attention for his neck wound at a nearby hospital.
