CLEARFIELD – For the third straight year, the St. Francis Catholic School in Clearfield has been honored with the SupportMusic Merit Award from a national foundation.
St. Francis is one of only 78 schools across the country to receive the award which recognizes outstanding commitment to music education.
The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation is a nonprofit organization which presents the SupportMusic Merit Award.
Jennifer Sproull, leader of the music program at St. Francis, said the school’s music education includes music theory, music history, vocal music and instrumental music.
