DuBois, PA – Together with your help, we were able to collect 578 pairs of warm cozy socks for local senior citizens through our Socks for Seniors program with Christ the King Manor!
That’s an incredible number! Last year, we collected 500 socks. We were hopeful that our community could break the record again this year, and you didn’t disappoint.
The 578 pairs of socks will be distributed throughout Christ the King Manor’s residents as a small sign of love and warmth from DuBois and the surrounding communities.
Thank you to each and every donor who contributed a pair of socks! A special thanks as well to the DuBois Family Dollar and the Gourmet Kitchen for being collection and drop-off points in town.
Christ the King Manor has teamed up with us for the past four years to spread some holiday year to our older loved ones. Thank you!
Paula Felton-Werner, CEO of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, is excited to announce that 578 pairs of socks were collected with your help through the Connect FM Socks for Seniors program to benefit residents at CTK! Paula also shares what Christmas looks like at the manor and gives a special Christmas wish for all residents, their families, and community members.
