Cooksburg, PA – The annual Snowman in the Forest celebration in Cook Forest State Park has been cancelled for this weekend due to potential flooding.

The festival, which was supposed to be on Saturday, had many events that relied on snow laying on the ground and also took place next to the Clarion River, which is high after the rain and ice melt.

DCNR Cook Forest State Park and Cook Forest/Clear Creek Vacation Bureau have decided to cancel this weekend’s Snowman in the Forest event.

They apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you next year.
