Smart car vandalized and Indiana license plate stolen in Jefferson County

Washington Township, PA – A vehicle in Jefferson County was vandalized and its license plate was stolen recently.

State Police in DuBois say the 2013 Smart Car Fortwo was parked along Westville Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, between Brockway and Falls Creek.

Troopers were called out on Saturday to reports of theft and criminal mischief.

They discovered the vehicle’s license plate, an Indiana State license plate with the number 478RKU, had been taken.

There was also exterior damage to the small car. This includes about $300 worth of damage to the front two tires, $100 of damage to the side mirrors, $50 of damage to the gas tank lid, and a $20 windshield wiper that was broken.
