Skid steer stolen from Humphrey Charcoal near Brookville


Pine Creek Township, PA – A skid steer was stolen from a business near Brookville, and police want your help finding out who did it.

A skid steer, sometimes called a bobcat, is a small piece of construction equipment primarily used for digging.

State Police in Punxsutawney say a yellow New Holland skid steer was taken from Humphrey Charcoal along Knox Dale Road in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County, sometime between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

The equipment was removed from the property with a truck and trailer.

Witnesses saw a 2012-2016 blue Ford Superduty Club Cab pickup truck and a dual axle low boy style trailer with a skid steer matching the description of the stolen equipment late Thursday night near the scene.
