Shredded Cheese Recalled

UNDATED – Over 1.5 million bags of shredded cheese are being recalled for metal contamination.

According to the FDA, these mozzarella shredded cheese products were sold across 32 states including Pennsylvania at popular grocery stores.

Stores impacted include Aldi, Food Lion, H-E-B, Publix, Sprouts Farmers Market, Target, and Walmart.

Impacted products include 8 ounce to 5 pound mozzarella blended packages with sell by dates expanding to March 2026.

If you have a contaminated product throw it out immediately, or return it to where you purchased it for a potential refund.
