Sheetz to lower gas prices effective immediately

Altoona – Sheetz convenience stores are lowering gas prices on certain grades of fuel for a limited time.

According to the Altoona-based company, Sheetz will lower its gas price to $3.99 per gallon on its 88 grade through the Fourth of July holiday.

Sheetz said it is helping to “reduce pain at the pump.”

The lower prices are “effective immediately.”

The average price for a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania is $4.95 – for a savings of 96 cents a gallon.

The E85 grade gasoline at Sheetz will sell for $3.49 a gallon.
