Sheetz lowers diesel prices through end of September

Undated – While gasoline prices have been trending lower, diesel prices have started increasing the past few weeks.

But the Sheetz convenience store chain is going to offer some relief to truckers and other diesel customers through the month of September.

Sheetz President and CEO Travis Sheetz announced that to celebrate truck drivers and show appreciation, diesel prices are going to be reduced from Labor Day through the end of the month.

Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 11th through 17th, but Sheetz is lowering its diesel fuel prices to $4.87 per gallon or lower through September 30th.

The announcement came as average diesel prices had risen above $5 per gallon.

One year ago, diesel was averaging $3.30 per gallon.

Sheetz has diesel pumps at more than 650 of their stores, many of them in Central and Western Pennsylvania.
