DuBois, PA – Senator Pat Toomey gathered with a small group of business owners yesterday to talk about the current state of the economy and how he says Pennsylvania can grow stronger after the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the backdrop of the DuBois Regional Airport, where Senator Toomey had just flown into, Toomey fielded questions about issues like CARES Act funding, broadband internet, and how to get more people back to work.
Congress will be back in session next week. Senator Toomey expects to see a new bill from the Senate about more COVID-19 aid funding.
He also remains hopeful about advancements of more rapid testing, possible vaccines for the virus, and broadband internet infrastructure so people are able to more easily work and learn remotely.
