DUBOIS – Second Harvest Food Bank came back to DuBois Wednesday providing meals to over 70 local veterans.
Our crews joined alongside local volunteers in handing out a multitude of different foods to veterans.
We spoke to Jackob Afton, Agency Relations Coordinator with Second Harvest, where he told us that over 70 individuals came out to this service.
“We had about 70-75 people come through, and we were able to distribute a little extra between people,“ explained Afton. “We’re seeing a really good turn out, they had about 50 last time so that’s a pretty good improvement.”
Second Harvest is set to return Wednesday May 14th
