DUBOIS – Thanks to an anonymous donor, a school resource officer will soon be serving in the DuBois Central Catholic Schools.

At last week’s DuBois City Council work session an agreement was reached between the City, Sandy Township, and the school. The officer will be employed by the township while the school will pay the officer with the money donated specifically to provide the services of a school resource officer.

With the importance of a positive police presence in our schools, here’s DuBois City Police Chief Clark:

As the deal was completed, DuBois City Manager Herm Suplizio thanked City of DuBois Police Chief Blaine Clark, Sandy Township Police Chief Kris Kruzelak, and DuBois Central Catholic President Gretchen Caruso for their help in implementing the partnership.
