Saxton man pleads guilty to assaulting several people at Penn Highlands DuBois

CLEARFIELD – A 40-year-old man will serve up to nine years in state prison after his guilty plea to assaulting several people at Penn Highlands DuBois East last year.

According to court documents, Sean Kolodziej of Saxton was charged with multiple counts of aggravated and simple assault, strangulation, resisting arrest, and harassment.

Kolodziej was a patient at Penn Highlands DuBois East when he allegedly attacked two women, another patient, a security officer, and a police officer.

His prison sentence is a total of three years and nine months to nine years, and he must also pay over $1,200 in restitution and undergo a mental health evaluation.
