Sandy Township, PA – Like many other townships and boroughs, the Sandy Township board of supervisors spent their first meeting of the year swearing in their members and reorganizing.
Mark Sullivan was re-elected and Barry Abbott was newly elected in November, and both were sworn in as supervisors at Monday’s meeting, with their terms ending at the end of 2026.
Bill Beers was appointed as chairman of the board, taking over for Kevin Salandra. Salandra now sits a vice chair, which was formerly held by Beers.
Shelly Reasinger is Secretary and Treasurer, Bob Wilson is a vacancy board members, Shawn Arbaugh remains as the township manager, the township engineer is Michael Haynes, and township solicitor is Salzman Huges.
