SANDY TWP – The Sandy Township Supervisors are asking that the consolidation process of the township and the City of DuBois be paused.
In light of the recent financial situation with the City of DuBois, including fraudulent transactions charges against former City Manager Herm Suplizio and an impending forensic audit, the supervisors voted unanimously Monday night to petition the court for a stay in the consolidation process between the two municipalities.
