SANDY TWP. – A Sandy Township road has been adopted into the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful program.
At their Monday meeting, township supervisors learned that Boy Scouts Troop 26 applied to have Mountain Run Road included. Sandy Township will assist the scouts with placing signs along the road.
The DuBois/Sandy Joint Consolidation Board will meet Wednesday at 6 pm at the City of DuBois Building. The board is working towards a plan for consolidating the city and township staff, and establishing an organizational chart by June 1st.
