SANDY TOWNSHIP – The Sandy Township Playground will soon be updated with brand new playground equipment.
During the Sandy Township Supervisors meeting Monday night, the Supervisors unanimously voted to approve $21,000 toward ADA all-inclusive playground equipment.
Manager Shawn Arbaugh said this equipment will replace other items that have previously had to be removed – with more playground equipment to be removed in the coming year.
Arbaugh also explained that the money is being moved from the 2018 fiscal year, and the Supervisors have until March to spend the funds or lose them.
