Sandy Township Fire Leaves Home a Total Loss

SANDY TOWNSHIP – An early afternoon house fire in Sandy Township has left one home a total loss Saturday. 

Just after 12pm Saturday crews were called to a two alarm house fire on 42 Arnold Avenue in Sandy Township.

Upon arrival crews noticed the home was engulfed in heavy smoke and flames.

After battling the blaze crews were able to get the fire under control although the home was a total loss.

Crews were called back to the scene at around 4pm the same day when the blaze rekindled.

No one was injured from the blaze, however the home was a total loss. The Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire, but currently has the cause as undetermined.
