SANDY TOWNSHIP – Sandy Township will be hosting two clean up events throughout the month and in October.
According to Township Manager Shown Arbaugh on September 30th the Township will be hosting a tire clean-up and collection. From 8am to 3:30pm you can take up to four normal sized tires to the township building at 1094 Chestnut Ave. for recycling.
In addition, on October 14th the township will host a paper shredding event from 8 am to 4 pm. The Township will accept one banker’s box per resident to confidentially shred.
