DUBOIS – With our area experiencing a heavier winter season this year, we are taking a look into the City of DuBois’ salt levels.
According to Public Works Director Scott Farrell, the city and township still have some salt left.
“We’re managing alright,“ explained Farrell. “We’re set right now between both entities for two more really big storms. There’s nothing like that really predicted, we’re just having a really hard time dealing with the ice out there, especially on our dirt and gravel roads
He reassures us that the commonwealth is focused on providing municipalities like DuBois with the necessary amount of salt if it is needed.
