DUBOIS – Residents of the Country Place Mobile Park in Sabula have been experiencing a disruption to their water supply due to a leak.

Approximately 150 people live in the mobile home park, and their water system is privately owned and operated. Since Saturday night, Sandy Township Emergency Management officials have been helping the property owners by setting up a water buffalo and coordinating with organizations and facilities in Sabula and Penfield for restroom and shower availability. The Emergency Management Coordinator for Sandy Township, Larry Bickel, said a Clearfield County Code Red Alert to boil water was sent out to the affected customers on Sunday.

Bickel noted that crews are working hard to get the system fixed and get residents back to some sort of normalcy.
