DUBOIS – Soon work will begin on a roundabout in DuBois.
Located at the intersection of Beaver Drive and Division Street, this project years in the making will help traffic flow in the area.
“Traffic will flow,” explained Public Works Director Scott Farrell. “You’ve got to consider the buses that leave the Middle School and go to the High School. They jam that thing all the way back to the Middle School. This will give them a smooth path up there, keep the traffic moving.”
Now that this project has been approved by lawmakers, PennDOT will complete this project at no cost to the municipality. Area traffic is expected to be impacted while roadwork is done over a multimonth period.
