UNION TOWNSHIP – A woman is facing multiple charges after her child had to have multiple rotten teeth extracted.

According to police, 30 year-old Shelby Szul had allegedly left her child at a Union Township home before disappearing.

Another at the home told police that they allegedly tried to get ahold of Szul to no avail when one of the child’s teeth broke.

After alerting Children and Youth Services, they took the child to assure all dental issues were taken care of.

She has now been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and neglect.
