CLEARFIELD – An exposition building on the Clearfield County Fairgrounds will soon get some badly-needed roof repairs.
At this week’s Clearfield County Commissioners’ meeting, $15,000 was approved to assist the Clearfield County Fair and Park Board with a roof project on the Expo II building.
Commissioners John Sobel and Dave Glass both noted that the Fair and Park Board has been permitting the county to use its facilities for various court proceedings and tax sales for a very good price.
In exchange for the financial help, the Fair and Park Board has agreed to lock in the county’s rental rates for the next 18 months.
Also at the county commissioners’ meeting, April 30th through May 6th was proclaimed Small Business Week in Clearfield County.
Small businesses in the county will be recognized for their critical contributions to the local economy.
