Rockton man jailed for alleged threats, illegal possession of firearm

ROCKTON – Police have jailed a Rockton man on charges of illegally possessing a firearm, and threatening to kill his father and burn his house down.

According to published reports, 25-year-old Douglas Taylor Jr allegedly made the threats as he argued with a female victim in Union Township.

Taylor is a convicted felon, and is not allowed to possess firearms.

As police arrested and searched Taylor, drug paraphernalia was also found.

Taylor is currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
