DuBois – Monday is the start of August, and the planned start to a couple of road projects that could impact your driving plans.
Platt Road in Sandy Township is scheduled to be closed for a couple of days next week so that repairs can be made to the B-and-P Railroad tracks.
Township officials say the portion of Platt Road from Route 255 to the PennDOT shed will be closed starting at 7am Monday.
It is expected to re-open when the repairs are complete sometime Wednesday, August 3rd.
Also, a pair of bridges that span Anderson Creek on Interstate 80 in Clearfield County are scheduled for repairs beginning Monday.
PennDOT says the work will include deck repair and resurfacing.
The bridges are located between mile markers 105 and 107 in Union Township.
The project is expected to be completed in six weeks.
