CLEARFIELD – Bridge and road maintenance crews are scheduled to be at work in the next few days in Clearfield and Elk counties.
According to PennDOT, the Golden Rod bridge project on Route 322 in Lawrence Township begins a new phase tomorrow (Friday).
The heavily-traveled bridge will be closed to traffic through the weekend, from 7am Friday until 6am Monday, so that a new concrete-wearing surface can be applied.
You can expect a detour around the Golden Rod bridge by using Routes 879, 970, and Interstate 80.
Also starting tomorrow in Elk County, a portion of Ridgway’s Main Street will be closed for approximately five days as improvements are made to a B&P Railroad crossing.
Traffic will be detoured using Route 948, Evergreen Drive and Grant Road in Ridgway to get back onto Main Street.
