CLEARFIELD – Road and bridge maintenance crews are scheduled to be busy this week in Clearfield County.

According to PennDOT, the active projects you need to watch for include a bridge preservation project in Lawrence Township, and road patching and pipe replacement work in Sandy Township.

The Golden Rod bridge project on Route 322 begins a new phase tomorrow (Thursday).

The eastbound lane across the bridge will be closed, and the westbound lane will reopen.

The new traffic pattern will be controlled by temporary traffic signals at both ends of the bridge.

Also this week, road patching work continues on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township, including the ramps at Exit 101 in DuBois.

Crews may implement short-term lane closures where the work is being done.

A pipe replacement and cleaning project also continues on Highland Street Extension in Sandy Township.

Flaggers are providing traffic control in that area.

While most of the work is planned between 7am and 3pm, PennDOT reminds you that crews could be working at any time of the day or night.
