RIDGWAY – Ridgway schools are closed Friday in light of a potential school shooting threat.
The district confirmed late Thursday night that a May 2022 Tik-Tok had a list of school shooting targets with Ridgway being one of them.
While the school saw no details or specifics in the video, on Thursday night a safe 2 say tip told school administration that there was indeed an online list saying there would be a school shooting on Friday the 13th.
In response to the potential threat, the Ridgway School District will be closed, including all after school activities, events, and sports.
