RIDGWAY – A Ridgway man has been jailed after allegedly physically abusing a 7 month-old child.
On May 20th 2025, police were notified that a 7 month-old child was at a children’s hospital with signs of being physically abused.
After investigating police learned the child was left alone with 24 year-old Navyn Kearney at a St Marys residence the day prior when the alleged abuse took place.
When questioned, Kearney allegedly blamed the baby sitter and mother.
He has now been sent to the Elk County Jail on aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children charges.
