REYNOLDSVILLE – Reynoldsville Police have charged a man with theft of services after he reconnected the water supply to his apartment after it had been shut off for non-payment.
According to Jefferson County Court documents, 60- year-old Richard Guthridge had his water turned off on July 7. The Reynoldsville Water Authority returned later that day to the East Main Street apartment to discover that Guthridge allegedly had reconnected the service.
Guthridge now awaits a preliminary hearing.
