
Bell Township, PA – A Reynoldsville man was injured after a car rear-ended him when he slowed down on his motorcycle.
47-year-old Kevin Koppenhaver from Reynoldsville had been riding his Yamaha motorcycle on Airport Road in Bell Township on Nov. 9.
He said he had slowed down because he saw a couple of bear cubs near the side of the road.
Police say 75-year-old Gary Hollenbaugh from Punxsutawney had been following too closely in his Mitsubishi Outlander and ended up striking the motorcycle from behind.
The motorcyclist had been wearing a helmet.
He was taken to Punxsutawney Hospital for his injuries.
