Reynoldsville man gives woman black eye

Reynoldsville, PA – A Reynoldsville man is behind bars after allegedly punching a women in the face and giving her a black eye.

 

Police were called to a home along Grant Street to speak with the victim who said that she and 58-year old Robert Bennett had gotten into an argument the night before and punched her in the face. According to the report the argument had continued into the following day where Bennett allegedly told the victim he would give her another black eye. Bennett acknowledged the arguments and said that they had both been drinking.

 

He has been charged with terroristic threats and simple assault. Unable to post his $10,000 bail, he is currently lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
