Reynoldsville Man Facing Charge of Resisting Arrest

BROOKVILLE – Multiple charges, including resisting arrest, have been filed against a Jefferson County man.

According to court documents, 39-year-old Christopher Lockwood of Reynoldsville is accused of causing a major disturbance with staff at a Brookville convenience store. Brookville Borough Police allege that Lockwood was visibly drunk, and was getting ready to drive away from the store when they were called to the scene. Lockwood refused police requests for him to get out of his vehicle for approximately two hours.

A preliminary hearing on charges of DUI, public drunkenness, and resisting arrest has been scheduled for Lockwood on July 23rd.
