REYNOLDSVILLE – A Reynoldsville man is facing child abuse charges after he allegedly assaulted a child in his care.

All of this stems from a March investigation after school staff reported signs of physical abuse.

During the investigation, police learned that 53 year-old Walter Foster Jr. had allegedly slammed the child’s head into a wall causing a concussion and was kicked.

Now police have officially charged Foster with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
