Republicans appear to take local House of Reps, Senate seats

Clearfield, Jefferson, Elk Counties, PA – Although not all votes are finalized, local seats appear to all be going to the Republican candidates.

These election results have not be finalized by the election board and have not been called by the Associated Press or any other nationwide news network.

At the time being, it appears these local seats will be held by the Republican candidates, who will be sworn in January 2021.

Glenn GT Thompson keeps the 15th Congressional seat.

Cris Dush fills the former Senator Joe Scarnati’s seat.

Mike Armanini fills the former Rep. Matt Gabler’s seat.

Senator Wayne Langerholc is keeping his seat.

 

Congressional Representative for the 15th District – Republican Glenn GT Thompson and Democrat Robert Williams

Senator for the 25th District (vacated by Senator Joe Scarnati) – Republican Cris Dush and Democrat Margie Brown

Representative for the 75th District (vacated by Representative Matt Gabler) – Republican Mike Armanini and Democrat Ryan Grimm

Representative in the 66th District – Republican Brian Smith (running unopposed)

Senator in the 66th District – Republican Senator Wayne Langerholc and Democrat Shaun Dougherty

Depending on the area each district covers, votes must be counted in several counties. However, here are the results specifically from Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk Counties. These votes must be calculated with votes from other counties in each candidate’s given district.
