DUBOIS – The DuBois YMCA is asking for your support to raise funds, helping the non-profit continue their services to our area.
The DuBois YMCA offers plenty for the community, from health and wellness services, aquatics programs, sports and recreation, to the programs they offer local children.
Now, they are trying to raise $60,000 dollars in what CEO of the DuBois YMCA, Scott Frano, says is in an effort to preserve a place where kids can find direction and families come together.
“It’s a big building to try and make sure we keep heat in it. To make sure the lights are on,“ explained Frano. “There’s no secret that we are built for a non-profit. We are not supposed to be making money off of it, but we’re also not supposed to be losing money.”
Beginning today you can donate to the sustaining campaign. You can find more information on the YMCAs website.
