Punxsy Man Accused of Assaulting Healthcare Workers

DUBOIS – A Punxsutawney man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting emergency room staff at Penn Highlands DuBois.

On Sunday, police responded to the emergency room after getting reports that a worker was assaulted.

After investigating, police learned that 42 year-old Kenneth Lewis Jr. became hostile with staff before allegedly charging into a worker. He was then restrained by multiple workers as he allegedly made multiple threats.

He is now facing felony aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment charges.
