PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney woman is facing simple assault charges after allegedly striking multiple people in late November.
On November 22nd, police were called to a Sycamore Street address for reports of an assault.
Once on scene, police learned that Sara Lambert allegedly began acting erratic before allegedly striking a woman caring for Lambert’s infant.
She allegedly also hit a man who arrived on scene not long after the initial incident.
Lambert allegedly provided police with a written statement that was mostly incoherent including that a dog spoke to her.
