DUBOIS – A Punxsutawney woman is facing theft charges for allegedly stealing her children’s iPhones during a court mandated visitation last month.
According to police, 43 year-old Maureen Barbara Selby-Bolia allegedly refused to return her two children’s cell phones bought and monthly payments made by the victim.
They told DuBois City Police that Selby-Bolia took both phones during a court mandated visitation, when asked to return the mobile devices she refused stating that she wanted to have an actual conversation with the victim.
When police asked for her to return the phones, she only returned one and claimed she did not know where the other one was.
Selby-Bolia now faces two misdemeanor charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 10th.
