PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly using her position at the Jefferson County Housing Authority to steal over $2,000 dollars in rent payments.
According to police, 41 year-old Amanda Geer collected payments from tenants, and allegedly pocketed around $2,437 dollars over multiple months.
When questioned, Geer allegedly admitted to taking around $1,500 dollars in payments and was willing to pay the full amount she allegedly took back. She is now facing felony theft charges.
