PUNXSUTAWNEY – The Punxsutawney School Board will soon meet to deal with a situation involving a co-principal at the high school facing multiple criminal issues.
According to Jefferson County Court documents, 45-year-old Paul Hetrick has been arrested three times since September.
Hetrick was reportedly arrested for DUI in September, then for violating a protection from abuse order in October and again in December.
Punxsutawney School Board President Matt Kengersky said “The school district is following the necessary policies and procedures regarding personnel matters … and takes accountability seriously.”
The next scheduled meeting of the board is January 5th.
