PUNXSUTAWNEY – Dismissal proceedings have started against a Punxsutawney High School co-principal who was arrested three times in four months.
In a unanimous vote this week, the Punxsutawney School Board approved a Statement of Charges against 45-year-old Paul Hetrick.
The board is also notifying Hetrick of his right under Pennsylvania’s Public School Code to request a hearing in front of the board.
In September and December, Hetrick was reportedly arrested for violating a Protection From Abuse order.
He was also arrested in September last year on DUI charges.
