
HARRISBURG — Nearly half a million dollars-worth of road construction and sewer improvement projects will happen in Punxsutawney thanks to funding approved by the Keystone Communities Program.
Punxsutawney Borough is set to receive a total of $486,172 to support infrastructure improvements in 2023.
The Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation was also approved for more than $10,000 which will be used to develop a comprehensive strategic plan.
The approved projects are part of nearly $8 million which will be dispersed statewide.
Since 2015, the Keystone Communities Program has helped fund 247 programs across Pennsylvania.
